Our Counselling Methods

We use a range of therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Person Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy which enables our clients to acquire coping skills and strategies in order to fully enjoy their lives.

Appointments run for an hour and during this appointment we can discuss the full range of your concerns. The time, number and frequency of future appointments will be agreed upon mutually at the conclusion of the initial appointment and may be dependent on the nature of the concerns you need to discuss. However, you may be reassured to know that we are committed to ensure you attend only the number of appointments you require.

Our counsellors & psychotherapists are members of the Australian Counselling Association and work within their respective Code of Practice in Counselling.

We’ve helped to improve the lives of people experiencing a range of issues, such as depression, grief and anxiety.

We have been together 10 years and at times it has been a roller coaster ride. To start with everything was fine. We had freedom and hardly any responsibilities. Now with 2 kids and busy jobs it is like we don’t know each other anymore. We hardly have quality time together and I really miss…

Who Attends Counselling?

Counselling gives you the chance to talk with a qualified person who will really listen to you and can help with new ideas and new ways of resolving a problem. It can be a relief to talk to someone who will be non-judgemental, independent of your situation, who will not demand that you to act on their advice, and who won’t be hurt by anything you say.

You may have another reason for wanting to try counselling! Whatever your reason, counselling may help you explore strategies for coping with difficulties, as well as allow you to gain some insight into your own behaviour.
